Kind Words of Appreciation from Recipients

I met the Founder of Libby's Legacy when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. I wanted you all to know that at my companies Year End Party we raised funds for women who are in need of mammograms and can't afford them. We are mailing a check to Libby's Legacy for the Hope Tree Project in the amount of $360.00 from Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers. My friend Jeanne Gey and I both are cancer free today because of our early detection from a mammogram. We wanted others within our community who were not a fortunate as ourselves to have an opportunity to be screened. Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers, like your organizaiton, is in the business of saving lives and we all know that it takes one day at a time to make a difference. —Sarah Kelly, Vice President

"In this season of giving, people look forward to buying the greatest of gifts for their friends and loved ones. I can think of no better gift than to honor someone in giving the gift of hope and life. Because of someone who cared, my life has been given a second chance. I received my free mammogram from Libby's Legacy in Feb 2009 and now my breast cancer is being treated. These "seeds of kindness" saved my life." —Zenaida Diaz

Ellen & Mark Stephenson with Robin Maynard for Pinktober Fest"Hope is a priceless gift...as a Stage 4 breast cancer patient in active treatment since 2003, my desire was simply to share that gift with women who due to lack of adequate health care coverage or finances lack the hope of access to this life-saving screening. My husband and priceless caregiver, Mark, also profoundly understands this need...which is why I knew there could be no gift he would cherish more this Christmas than a donation made on his behalf to fund a mammogram and potentially save the life of someone's mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt or friend!" —Ellen Stephenson
